It is also important to have an easily located FAQ and HELP area to address any questions visitors may have. The sign-up forms that pop up immediately upon opening a website or app are one of the biggest deterrents for user interaction. Most of the users dislike sign-up forms. Instead of preventing users from seeing any content before making them sign-up, at-least give them the reason to sign-up by telling them the benefits they will gain. Tell users more about the app or the website and the benefits it has to users. Convince people that your product have value before asking them to sign-up.
Shorten the form as much as you can, both in terms of number of entries and the space it takes up on the screen. If possible, allow social login to simplify the process and increase the conversion rate.
Useful Search Function
Mobile users want information faster so a mobile site should have an easily visible search function on every page. Where the search function is placed depends on the content and the device it is viewed on. It should not necessarily be on a sticky menu, where ever you keep it, make sure , users are able to find the search bar. Creating a good search function can be key as it won’t let user wade through products to find what they are looking for.
Be Aware of Trends
Trends are popular and they are also an easy way to fall into common mistakes of UX design. Carousels and scroll hijacking can be aesthetically appealing but products should not be focused on beauty. Instead, you should provide your users with the functionality and solution to their problems.
Adding trends to your apps or website can add to the beauty by making it more visually appealing but it also makes it harder to stand out. With so many options available and the cut throat competition, branding has become more important than ever. You need to give more importance to mobile UX because most of the users today access the web, apps etc through smart-phones so if Mobile UX is taken care of, there are more chances of retaining the user or consumer.
The best way to facilitate the user is by providing the content in a simplified manner. Don’t let the user be overwhelmed by using various colors, fonts, font sizes on the mobile platform. Make a specific section stand out or you can also pick few colors and use them effectively to identify different types of content. It is better to avoid dividers because lines, boxes and borders take up space and mobile devices only have so much space to utilize.
Help user accomplish what they want by removing clutter and unnecessary content. Make sure links and interactive portions are clearly labeled or identifiable. Things like accidentally clicking a link when they meant to scroll are very annoying to users, so avoid and be careful with such things.

It is important to listen to what users want but it is even more important to pay attention to what they do. Analyze their behavior while they interact with your product to discover where the flaws in your UX design are. You will understand more about users by observing them and trying to understand what they say they want.
User testing will also help you identify whether features in an app or mobile website are actually being used. At times, although, a feature sounds like a good idea, but users don’t end up interacting with it. Features that aren’t providing value to the product are complicating the user experience and detract from what the user wants to accomplish.
